§ 112.05. PERMIT FEES.

  • (A) The permit fees to be charged for this subchapter shall be in the sum as prescribed in the following divisions. All such permits shall be issued for the periods of time indicated below.
    (1) For each peddler or hawker, on foot, of goods, wares, merchandise or other articles or products, such permit shall be $10 for each day when taken by the day; $25 for each week when taken by the week; $50 for each month when taken by the month; and $100 for each year when taken by the year.
    (2) For each peddler or hawker of any articles with wagon or temporary set-up, the fee shall be $25 for each day when taken by the day; $90 for each week when taken by the week; $100 for each month when taken by the month; and $200 for each year when taken by the year.
    (B) The exceptions to division (A) above will be during the Little Italy Festival and the Little Italy Grand Prix, wherein all peddlers or hawkers will be charged $100 a day for the specified dates of these activities. The above is not applicable to any nonprofit charitable or religious organizations whose headquarters/offices are located in or around the city that has been approved by the LIFT Committee and Little Italy Grand Prix Committee.
    (C) Veterans as prescribed by state law must apply for a permit but are free from paying of the fees prescribed in this section.
